FAIRe – Frugal Artificial Intelligence in Resource-limited environments Bringing artificial intelligence to where it is needed FAIRe is one of the projects resulting from the collaboration between DFKI and Inria and will be presented on June 19. The project is developing an innovative approach to drastically reduce model size and computing effort, thereby laying the foundation for providing powerful AI applications efficiently, reliably, and with low energy consumption directly on mobile devices. FAIRe thus enables intelligent, real-time AI solutions at the edge of the network – independent of a permanent cloud connection and optimally tailored to resource-limited systems.
