Hiroshima Prefecture

Hiroshima Prefecture is located almost in the center of western Japan and has long been a crossroads of eastern and western cultures, with active exchanges of people, goods, and information. With a population of approximately 2.7 million, it is one of Japan's largest prefectures in terms of both population and industrial scale.
