VivaTech Brings Innovation to the Heart of Paris
This year, VivaTech turns 10, and we're not waiting for the doors of Porte de Versailles to open to start the celebrations.
To mark this milestone anniversary, VivaTech is teaming up with the Comité Champs-Élysées to transform the world's most famous avenue into a free, open-to-all technology experience. On Sunday, June 14, the Champs-Élysées will become a giant open-air showcase of innovation, giving visitors a chance to experience the future before VivaTech 2026 officially begins.
Designed to be immersive, accessible, and interactive, VivaTech in the City invites families, students, entrepreneurs, tourists, technology enthusiasts, and curious minds of all ages to explore the innovations shaping tomorrow.
Eight Giant Letters, Eight Ways to Experience the Future
For one day only, more than 150,000 visitors will be invited to discover the technologies, inventions, and demonstrations housed beneath eight monumental letters spelling V-I-V-A-T-E-C-H.

Each letter will host a themed experience dedicated to one of the major transformations shaping our future:
- City & Mobility
- Impact & Planet
- Health & Wellbeing
- Robots & Space
- AI How-To
- Jobs & Training
- Culture, Sport & Entertainment
- Agora
Through interactive installations, live demonstrations, and hands-on experiences, visitors will discover how innovation is already transforming everyday life.
Explore the Technologies Defining the Next Decade
Across the route, more than 35 free demonstrations will bring tomorrow's technologies to life. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience:
- A stratospheric capsule that offers a glimpse of Earth from the upper atmosphere.
- Solar-powered vehicles with charging systems integrated directly into their bodywork.
- Zero-emission drones capable of inspection and transport missions.
- Humanoid and companion robots designed to interact with the public.
- Exoskeletons that enhance, restore, or augment human physical capabilities.
- Technologies that generate drinking water from air.
- Smart retail and urban innovations developed in partnership with Vusion.
Artificial intelligence will also take center stage. In partnership with Google, visitors will discover immersive, participatory, and artistic experiences designed to help everyone better understand AI and explore its potential in a creative, positive, and responsible way.
Where Innovation Meets Parisian History
The Champs-Élysées has long been a showcase for the innovations that define each era.
As early as 1855, the avenue welcomed visitors to the first World's Fair held in Paris, celebrating industrial transformation, technological breakthroughs, and human ingenuity. More than 170 years later, VivaTech is reviving that same spirit of discovery by inviting the public to explore the technologies already shaping the 21st century.
The event also marks a unique partnership between two powerful ecosystems. On one side stands VivaTech, bringing together 15,000 startups, 4,000 investors, and technology leaders from around the world. On the other is the Champs-Élysées, one of the most iconic destinations on the planet, welcoming more than 70 million visitors every year. Together, they are creating a new way for the public to experience innovation.
