The need for “common ground” to shape public discourse is stronger than ever. This is where journalism steps back in. AI can mass-produce content in seconds, but it can't witness an event, build a relationship, or earn a reader's trust. How can news media rise to the challenge and build sustainable business models? How can it fund, prioritize and distribute high-quality reporting to the greatest number?
