About Me
Alex Peluffo is an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company and the co-founder of QuantumBlack’s Scientific AI practice, where he leads the firm’s AI for Research in Life Science, Chemistry and Agriculture. Working at the intersection of biology and AI, Alex guides scientific and technical teams in building AI platforms for target identification, molecular discovery and optimization and clinical trial optimization.
Before joining QuantumBlack, he led a drug target discovery team in one of the first AI drug discovery companies. Alex did his graduate studies in Genetics and Computational Biology at the University of Paris and the École Normale Supérieure (ENS), he is driven by a deep passion to empower researchers with the cutting-edge AI accelerators they need to bring life-changing treatments to patients faster.
