Co-founder and CTO at Alan Charles Gorintin is the co-founder and CTO of Alan. The mission of Alan is to unlock millions of healthy years for everyone, through prevention and access to care, using AI's potential to transform healthcare. Created in 2016, Alan serves over 1.1M members across France, Belgium, Spain, and Canada. Alan generates €800 million in revenue through health insurance, and unique services like personalized prevention and a virtual clinic. Alan has raised over €650 million, is valued at €5 billion, and employs over 800 people. The company, a member of the French Next40, was the first independent insurance company to get licensed in France since 1986. Charles Gorintin is passionate about innovating in company culture, with Alan embracing principles like radical transparency and distributed ownership. Since 2023, Charles Gorintin is also a non-executive co-founder of Mistral AI. Prior to co-founding Alan, Charles Gorintin was a data science leader at fast-growing social networks Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Gorintin holds a Masters degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Ecole des Ponts ParisTech, a Masters degree in Artificial Intelligence from ENS Paris-Saclay, and a Masters of Financial Engineering from UC Berkeley - Haas School of Business.
