Hiroshi Matsushima

Hiroshi Matsushima is an Senior Investment Director at Sony Ventures / Sony Innovation Fund, based in London. Joined Sony in 2007 and spent around 10 years at Sony Interactive Entertainment, working across the PlayStation business in localization, game production, PlayStation Store product planning, and gaming publisher account management. Since 2019, has worked as a venture investor at Sony Innovation Fund, focusing on entertainment-related startups. In Japan, invested in 7 startups over 5 years, 2 of which went public. Since 2025, transferred to London, covering UK and EU-based startups. Also held a concurrent role with Sony Music Entertainment Japan since 2023.
