John Ashley

Dr. John Ashley leads the technical team for NVIDIA's global public sector group and is part of the leadership team for the NVIDIA AI Technology Center program. His focus is helping governments improve the security, safety, health, climate resilience and economic well-being of citizens while developing their Sovereign AI capability and ecosystem. He has been at NVIDIA for over 16 years in a variety of technical and business positions. He holds a doctorate in Computational Sciences and Informatics, and BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering. Prior to joining NVIDIA, his experience was varied – he has been a data scientist, project manager, systems architect, DBA, and developer – working in vendor, consulting, and end user firms across utilities, government, and finance. He holds a US Patent in predictive analytics.
