Matt Sanders is Director of Accessibility and Impact in Meta’s Wearables Business Group, leading the company’s efforts to deliver impact in a range of sectors and communities through wearable AI technology. Previously, he was Meta’s first Director of Education, working closely with educators, developers and policy makers to support the adoption of virtual and augmented reality in education.
Before joining Meta, Matt served as Special Adviser to the UK Deputy Prime Minister, covering the Department for Education, and as Policy Director and Chief Adviser to New Zealand’s Minister of Education. In both countries he oversaw reforms designed to raise educational achievement and narrow the gap between children from different backgrounds.
