Panos Panay

Panos Panay joined Amazon in October 2023 as Senior Vice President, Devices, Alexa & Leo. He leads Amazon's consumer electronics devices and the services behind them—including Alexa+, Echo, Kindle, Fire TV, tablets, Ring, eero, Blink, Bee, Amazon Photos and more—as well as other initiatives such as Amazon Leo and Zoox. Previously, Panos served as Executive Vice President & Chief Product Officer at Microsoft, where he led the Windows + Devices businesses. His responsibilities included the development and design of Windows and Windows 365, the creation and manufacturing of Microsoft hardware (including Surface and Mixed Reality devices), and the development of EDU products and features. He led the creation of the Surface product line in 2012 and the Windows 11 operating system in 2021. In 2022, Panos was awarded the AHEPA Socrates Award, and in 2023 he received a Leadership 100 Award for Excellence, recognizing outstanding Greek Orthodox and Greek American leaders. Panos holds an MBA from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Science from California State University, Northridge.
