VIVATECH CELEBRATES ITS 10TH ANNIVERSARY ON THE CHAMPS-ÉLYSÉES: COME EXPERIENCE THE FUTURE OF INNOVATION SUNDAY, JUNE 14 FROM 12:00 PM TO 6:00 PM ON THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AVENUE IN THE WORLD!

VIVATECH CELEBRATES ITS 10TH ANNIVERSARY ON THE CHAMPS-ÉLYSÉES: COME EXPERIENCE THE FUTURE OF INNOVATION SUNDAY, JUNE 14 FROM 12:00 PM TO 6:00 PM ON THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AVENUE IN THE WORLD!

Paris, May 19, 2026 - On the occasion of its tenth anniversary, VivaTech, Europe's largest event dedicated to startups and technology, is taking over "the most beautiful avenue in the world" alongside the Comité Champs-Élysées, turning it into a free, open-to-all technological immersion experience.

TECH ON THE COBBLESTONES!

Founded in 2016 at the initiative of Publicis Groupe and the Groupe Les Échos-Le Parisien, VivaTech has established itself over ten years as the most important European event dedicated to startups and technology. Every year in Paris, it brings together entrepreneurs, researchers, major corporations, investors and international decision-makers, making France a strategic crossroads for global innovation.

To celebrate this past decade and look ahead to the next one,VivaTech and the Comité Champs-Élysées are offering this year an unprecedented, free, open-air immersive experience, designed to be accessible and engaging. Even before VivaTech opens - which will take place from June 17 to 20 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles - this preview will allow children and adults, the curious and the passionate alike, to celebrate global innovation in the heart of the capital, on its most iconic avenue.

VIVATECH: EIGHT MONUMENTAL LETTERS ON THE CHAMPS-ÉLYSÉES, EIGHT THEMES TO EXPERIENCE THE FUTURE

For one day, more than 150,000 visitors are invited to discover all the innovations, inventions and demonstrations housed under the eight giant letters of the word VivaTech, eight thematic stops assembled on the roadway to explore the major technological transformations that will shape our future.

City & Mobility, Impact & Planet, Health & Wellbeing, Robots & Space, AI How-to, Jobs & Training, Culture, Sport & Entertainment, Agora... Each space will offer exclusive demonstrations and interactive installations, allowing everyone, regardless of age, to concretely understand and grasp the innovations already transforming our daily lives.

Throughout the experience, visitors will be able to discover, among other innovations, a stratospheric capsule enabling observation of Earth from the upper atmosphere, solar vehicles with charging integrated directly into their bodywork, as well as next-generation drones capable of inspecting or transporting loads with zero emissions.

Robotics and human-centered innovation will also be widely represented, with humanoid robots and companion robots capable of interacting with the public, as well as exoskeletons designed to enhance, restore or augment human physical capabilities.

The experience will also highlight concrete impact innovations , such as technologies producing drinking water from air, as well as solutions envisioning the city and food of tomorrow (in partnership with Vusion), combining connected objects, sustainable uses and sensory experiences.

Finally, in partnership with Google, artificial intelligence will be explored in a playful, creative and responsible way, through immersive, participatory and artistic experiences, inviting everyone to better understand and embrace these technologies in a positive way.

In total, more than 35 innovation demonstrations will be offered free of charge to visitors, spread throughout the route and led by startups, technology partners and experts, offering a concrete, vibrant and embodied vision of tomorrow's technologies.

VIVATECH MEETS THE CHAMPS-ÉLYSÉES: THE MARRIAGE OF INNOVATION AND LEGEND

On Sunday, June 14, 2026, as part of the Avenue's pedestrianisation, VivaTech and the Comité Champs-Élysées will together transform this iconic location into a route dedicated to innovation and the technologies of tomorrow, produced by the agency Ubi.

This partnership is an alliance. On one side: 200 sector-leading brands, a historic avenue celebrated around the world, walked by 73 million visitors every year. On the other: 15,000 startups, 4,000 investors, tech leaders from every corner of the globe. VivaTech will bring its modernity, the energy of an ecosystem and its vision of tomorrow's world. The Champs-Élysées, in turn, will lend the digital world their extra soul, their history, their legend, and their distinctly Parisian identity.

The Champs-Élysées have, throughout every era, been a showcase for great innovations. As early as 1855, the Avenue hosted the first world's fair organised in Paris, like a promise of a new world, between industrial transformations and spectacular machines, brought to life through the early days of photography.

In 2026, VivaTech revives that spirit by inviting the public to explore, with the same sense of wonder, the technologies already shaping the 21st century.

" From VivaTech's very inception, I wanted the general public to be able to discover innovations and for them not to be reserved for an elite. On the occasion of this tenth anniversary, and with the support of the Comité des Champs Élysées and the City of Paris, we are offering a walk through the era of the future, robots, artificial intelligence, within everyone's reach. This is our way of celebrating a decade of innovation by making it more accessible, more alive and more human than ever," says Maurice Lévy, co-chairman of VivaTech.

"On June 14, 2026, the Champs-Élysées will dare to host the world's largest open-air tech demonstration. This popular and spectacular event will be accessible to all: Parisians and Île-de-France residents, passers-by and robots. Startups and large companies alike will compete with screens, memory capacities and algorithms, putting themselves to the test on the most iconic (and no less digital!) cobblestones in the capital. By showcasing the best of global innovation, invention and imagination, the Champs-Élysées will reconnect with a tradition born with the great world's fairs: being pioneers, being first - first to move forward, first to try, first to celebrate. The Comité Champs-Élysées is certain of it: this event will mark a turning point in the way innovation is experienced and shared." highlights Marc-Antoine Jamet, President of the Comité Champs-Élysées.
