Intellectual Property
The systems, software, structures, infrastructures, databases and content of any nature (including texts, images, visuals, videos, music, documents, logos, trademarks, databases, etc.) of the website
www.vivatech.com (the "Site"), as well as the Site itself, are protected by applicable intellectual property rights.
TAll disassembly, decompilation, decryption, extraction, reuse, copying and more generally, any act of reproduction, representation, distribution and use of the Site or any of its elements, in whole or in part, is strictly prohibited and may be subject to legal proceedings. Violation of these mandatory provisions subjects the offender, and all responsible persons, to the penalties provided by law.
Independently of the aforementioned intellectual property rights, MSL France has, in accordance with Article L. 112-3 of the Intellectual Property Code, rights over the database constituted by the Site's data and rights over any sub-database such as notably the database constituted by the exhibitors and partners of the Viva Technology Event, the database constituted by the Event's speakers.
Consequently, any extraction and/or reuse of all or part of these databases, within the meaning of Articles L 342-1 and L 342-2 of the Intellectual Property Code, is prohibited.
Thus, the user undertakes not to perform, directly or indirectly, any web scraping, automated data and/or content collection and/or extraction from the Site. The term "web scraping" includes, without limitation, the use of robots, scripts, tools or automated software to access, extract or harvest information, data or content present on the Site.
This prohibition also applies to any use of tools or software whose purpose is to explore or extract data in a repeated and automated manner, regardless of the volume of data concerned, and to any tutorial explaining how to automatically extract, collect or reproduce all or part of the information, data or content present on the Site.
The user is solely responsible for the consequences of any web scraping or automated collection activity performed in violation of this clause. Furthermore, the user undertakes to indemnify MSL France for any damage, costs and expenses, including legal fees, resulting from the violation of the prohibition in this article.
It is reminded that the act of fraudulently introducing data into an automated processing system, extracting, holding, reproducing, transmitting, deleting or fraudulently modifying the data it contains is punishable by five years' imprisonment and a fine of €150,000 (Article 323-3 of the Penal Code).
