For over 30 years, Muriel Brunet has been at the crossroads of STEM, innovation ecosystem, regional development, and public policy.
Her experience in STEM has been developed both within the public sector and in large corporations and startups.
For more than 15 years, Muriel has worked on the themes of e-education, and innovation, first for the Cité des Savoirs in Poitiers, which she directed, then at Cap Digital in charge of education and training, then at the Ministry of National Education, and finally at Inria as head of the Education and Digital Technology Program.
For the past eight years, Muriel Brunet has been developing strategies and leading initiatives to promote gender diversity in STEM, initially at the Ministry of National Education to lead the “Filles et numérique” mission, and then as head of the Education and Digital Technology Program. Having initiated the program, she is now the strategic lead for TechPourToutes at Inria, a support to the Inria Foundation, and a member of the Executive Committee of Femmes@Numérique (Women@Digital).
