Philippe Piron is CEO of GE Vernova’s Electrification segment, and of its respective business units Grid Solutions and Power Conversion.
GE Vernova’s Electrification segment delivers systems, equipment, software, and services essential to the transmission, distribution, conversion, storage, and orchestration of electricity from generation to consumption.
Following its spin-off from General Electric in April 2024, GE Vernova now operates as an independent company alongside GE Aerospace and GE Healthcare. Organized into three segments—Power, Wind, and Electrification—the company employs approximately 85,000 people worldwide, including nearly 32,000 in Electrification across more than 60 countries.
A French national, Philippe Piron brings more than 25 years of international experience, holds a PhD from École Polytechnique, and is a Knight of the French Legion of Honor.
