Ruth Harper

Ruth Harper, Chief Marketing and Sustainability Officer at ManpowerGroup, leads Global Marketing and Communications across ManpowerGroup's 70+ countries and family of brands – Manpower, Experis, and Talent Solutions. With more than 25 years of experience, she oversees global brand building efforts and leads a global Marketing & Communications Council of leaders from top priority markets. Ruth spearheads integrated marketing campaigns, content strategy, and digital, data-driven approaches to engage candidates and clients. Additionally, she is the driving force behind ManpowerGroup’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategy and Working to Change the World Plan. A passionate champion of the green skills transition, Ruth advocates for training and career development initiatives, emphasizing upskilling for underrepresented groups, and strengthening communities globally. Ruth represents ManpowerGroup at the World Economic Forum's Centre for the New Economy and Society on jobs and skills, and the Community for ESG Practitioners and Climate Leaders. She also leads ManpowerGroup's engagement on issues such as ethical AI and workforce preparation. Ruth lives with her husband and two teenage sons in Milwaukee and serves on the Board of the Discovery World science museum.
