VivaTech celebrates its 10th anniversary

In 2026, VivaTech turns 10 and writes a new chapter in the story of the event.

Launched in 2016 with the aim of bringing together major corporations and entrepreneurs, VivaTech has established itself as Europe’s leading platform for open innovation. Today, for its tenth edition, the event is taking a symbolic step forward: Viva Technology becomes VivaTech, marking the entry into a new dimension – bolder, more influential and resolutely forward-looking.

To celebrate this anniversary, VivaTech is setting up shop on ‘the most beautiful avenue in the world’ in partnership with the Comité Champs-Élysées, transforming it into an immersive, educational and entertaining open-air experience that is free and free for one and all.

On the Sunday before the tenth edition, 14 June 2026, from 12 noon to 6 pm, the Champs-Élysées will be transformed into a giant playground dedicated to innovation, where startups, major companies, citizens and the talents of tomorrow can meet, exchange ideas and explore the technologies shaping our daily lives: AI, blockchain, mobility, climate, health, robotics, space, art and culture.

Eight monumental letters, eight themes to experience the future: For this once-in-a-lifetime event, each giant letter of the word ‘VivaTech’ will house a themed exhibition set up on the avenue, where visitors can explore the major technological transformations shaping our future.

City & Mobility; Impact & Planet; Health & Wellbeing; Robots & Space; AI: Hands-On; Jobs & Training; Culture; Sport & Entertainment; Agora… Each area features exclusive demonstrations and interactive exhibits, offering a practical understanding of the innovations that are already transforming our daily lives.

As visitors make their way through the exhibition, they can check out more than 35 exclusive demonstrations, including Zephalto, a stratospheric capsule that lets you view the Earth from the upper atmosphere; the shops of the future with VusionLive for Fresh; the Stern Board from SQ Motors, an all-terrain electric skateboard designed to push the boundaries of mobility; the transport system from NEXT Modular based on modular electric vehicles; Midipile, a hybrid vehicle combining a cargo bike and a utility vehicle with electric assistance to carry up to 300 kilos of payload; a VR experience from La Poste Group to show how the Group prepares for the consequences of climate change; water filtered and produced by solar panels from Agua de Sol; Climate Impulse by Solar Impulse, the green hydrogen-powered aircraft set to complete a non-stop round-the-world flight; Lili for Life and its reading lamp for people with dyslexia; Lattice Medical’s 3D-printed bioresorbable implants for soft tissue reconstruction following cancer; the Atalante X exoskeleton from Wandercraft and the EXIA exoskeleton from German Bionic; AI glasses with a built-in camera from Rokid; Buddy, the AI companion robot from Blue Frog Robotics; the humanoid robots from Agibot; an AI workshop with Google and the E-mma association; Orange is raising awareness among young people about digital risks through its #ForGoodConnections initiative and a special football-themed event that highlights the fight against cyberbullying and screen time in a fun way; presented by its skipper, the sailor Charles Caudrelier, the new maxi Gitana 18, a true giant of the seas designed to fly across the open ocean thanks to its revolutionary foils and rudders; LightYear’s solar vehicles, with charging integrated directly into their bodywork; Apeleon’s vertical take-off and landing drones; and the sovereign payment app Wero, presented by BNP Paribas.

A strong belief: technology must serve humanity.

Since its inception, VivaTech has championed a vision: innovation must belong to everyone. By taking over the Champs-Élysées, VivaTech reaffirms its commitment to inclusive, diverse technology focused on the common good, capable of addressing the world’s most pressing challenges.

This partnership is an alliance. On one side, 200 leading brands in their sectors, a historic avenue celebrated the world over, visited by 73 million people every year. On the other: 15,000 startups, 4,000 investors, and tech leaders from every corner of the globe. VivaTech will bring its modernity, the energy of an ecosystem, and its vision of tomorrow’s world. The Champs-Élysées has, throughout the ages, been a showcase for major innovations. As early as 1855, the Avenue hosted the first World’s Fair held in Paris.

In 2026, VivaTech will revive that spirit by inviting the public to discover, with the same sense of wonder, the technologies that are already shaping the 21st century. The celebration of technology continues at the VivaTech Festival on Saturday 20 June in Hall 7 at the Porte de Versailles, for the traditional open day for the general public (see the section dedicated to the VivaTech Festival in this press kit).
